We had a wonderful, warm, Spirit-filled Easter weekend! It was especially nice because we literally went from snow and 30 degree weather to 50's and 60's. We soaked up the sun with family and loved it!
One thing we did was make these paper baskets to hold some paper eggs the kids got to color. The girls loved the simple activity.
Another thing we did was get glitter glue to decorate paper eggs with, which of course, they loved.
Parker made the tomb and Jesus out of playdoh, and then made it in every color we had.
And Ashtyn drew this picture of the tomb and Christ.
I did a couple simple Easter decorations and they made me so happy.
Our dinosaur museum does an Easter egg hunt where the kids come to collect eggs throughout the museum and then turn in the empty eggs for a prize at the end. It was fun to go this year (I don't think they've done it since before Covid).
In the afternoon, we dyed eggs.
Ashtyn also made brownies for the family party on Sunday. She was very proud to make them all by herself. I got the brownies out of the oven, because she was nervous about that, but she put them in the oven by herself and even checked them with a toothpick twice to make sure they were baked just right.
We did a little Easter egg hunt with Ben's cousin's family on Saturday and had a lot of fun with it. We had a few little toys and some candy, but we also made these little coupons to put in the eggs.
Oliver loved his first Easter egg hunt! Especially when he realized the eggs had candy in them 😂

Oliver's suit is just a little big for him ... he's just a little guy.
I always make deviled eggs on Easter (and never any other time) and I love them.
Oliver is such a big boy now!
