As "just" a mom, I have a front row seat to my children's growth and learning, daily little miracles, and the funny things that happen in a marriage. I feel so very blessed to be "just" a mom.
Near the end of September, Ben and I were able to travel out to Provo area without the kids for a wedding. One of the girls in my very first dance class was getting married and I was so happy to be invited and for her!
The mountains were so beautiful, as the leaves were just starting to change colors.
These pictures do not do it justice.
We drove out straight to the temple, leaving the kids with Ben's mom. We made it right on time to the temple and the sealing was beautiful. After the group picture, we went over to DI to look for some clothes for the girls. Then we went to the wedding dinner, where they served authentic Irish food and we were able to see some old dance friends of mine. It was so fun to see people, be there for the wedding, talk with Ben uninterrupted by kids, and just spend the day together.
September was a fun and more relaxing month after summer and we loved it! Ben and I were also able to get away to a wedding without the kids, which is always fun, and we got to celebrate Oliver's second birthday.
Oliver loves to be included, so when his sisters are doing something (like sitting and watching a movie), he loves to run over and do it with them.
I love watching how much the sisters love Oliver and Oliver loves them 💗
We had our first bout of sick for the fall/winter.
Someone really related to this book apparently 😂
Oliver bought this truck with his birthday money, and he loves it.
He loves putting things in it, including his birthday cards.
His favorite toy 😍
A tractor in a tractor!
And then with a ball and a marshmallow.
And a little wagon he got from his Grandma Leah!
This is how we brush Oliver's teeth now 😆
He loves it and it makes it so much easier.
Parker started piano lessons with her Grandma Lindi in September and she loves it!
Parker is getting good enough to read to Rylee and I love it.
Grilled cheese sandwiches!
When Parker makes herself lunch 😂
Haircut!
Rylee lost her first two teeth in September!
She was so excited!
Ashtyn also made dinner rolls for the first time by herself and they turned out really yummy.
Sisters 💗
Oliver loves our walks but he didn't want me to take a picture apparently haha
I love seeing my kids love books 💗
The kids always love catching frogs in our yard.
We did a little sorting activity outside with the nice weather for school
and the kids had fun with it.
Oliver selfies 💗
Yoga!
Pictures by Rylee 💗
The girls disappeared upstairs for an hour.
This is what they left behind.
Rylee 😂
Halloween/fall decorations!
A Saturday morning where we didn't do anything special, but we did yard work together and the girls rode bikes after helping us. It was the kind of morning that I pictured when I would imagine what my life would be like, when I was growing up and imagining my future. I am so grateful to the family I have the life we've built.
The girls made a paper girl and named her Parker and hung her on the wall for a month 😂
Parker drew a book about Ben and I getting married and having a family.
Working on my bullet journal all of September!
Ashtyn's nature documentary pictures.
This one is of a praying mantis eating another praying mantis.
Ben babysitting Kolson and making him laugh 😂
And babysitting Rhen, Parker was reading with him 💗
Oliver wanted BBQ sauce for lunch.
Ring around the rosies!
We love spending time together and with family and we love fall weather!
