Oliver's second birthday was really fun for the whole family. Instead of doing a date with just Oliver, we decided to drive out as a family and go to the zoo. Everyone loved it, including Oliver!
We drove out on Thursday night when Ben was done with work and stayed with my aunt Ardis. The girls absolutely loved seeing Adylinne and Makayla and the foosball table. We got settled to bed right when we got there because it was pretty late, but we had a slower morning to spend with them. While we were getting loaded, Ardis got out the toy cars to keep Oliver occupied and then we had a hard time pulling him away to actually go to the zoo.
Oliver would've been completely happy if we'd spent the entire day playing with this water ball thing.
Ashtyn was especially excited to see the giraffes.

We got to see the elephants before the zoo moved them to a new home!

We ended up buying donuts instead of making them.

We did brownies and ice cream for his dessert and I made the brownies into these little stoplights. I loved how they turned out.

Oliver loved his treats and his time spent with his family! He had a great birthday and we loved celebrating him!
