Thanksgiving is such a special holiday that we love! I love our slow and simple traditions around it too and just spending time together.
Each November, we do a gratitude tree. Each day, each person adds a leaf with something they are grateful for and by Thanksgiving, we have a tree full of gratitude!
Thanksgiving crafts and creations!
Ashtyn learned how to make pie crust this year and made pumpkin pie and apple pie from start to finish. They turned out yummy! We made pie crust on Tuesday, pies and rolls on Wednesday, and then spent Thursday morning we relaxed. We watched the Thanksgiving Day parade and then A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
I loved being pregnant through the holidays 💖
In the afternoon on Thursday, we went to Ben's grandma's family dinner. They had it at the city building this year. They had lots of food and some games and visiting.
After the dinner, we went home and had some of Ben's family come over to share all the different pie we'd made and just visit in a quieter setting. The kids and I also started watching Miracle on 31st Street together.
Oliver was tucked out from all the activities and no nap 💖
It was a wonderful day full of yummy food, family, and gratitude!
