I'm very behind because I'm so busy right now, but I did want to get September's post in still. September was a great month for us. The weather was great and we got to spend lots of time outside and with friends nad family.

Lizzy and Ashtyn learned windmill cartwheels, they worked really hard on them.

In September, we did a trip out to the city to do a gender-reveal ultrasound.
Little Leah did fall asleep, but then we stopped for construction and she woke up 5 minutes later. It was a bit rough, but she did really well in the car despite not sleeping.
After the ultrasound, we stopped at Costco becuase I had some things I needed to do in the store. We got a pizza and wished we hadn't, becuase it took 45 minutes to come out. We took the pizza to a nearby park to have dinner and then headed to the Bartlett's (some of my family), who we were staying with. It was really fun to visit with them! The next morning, I went to my cousin Brynndi's baby shower before we headed home. On the way home, Leah and Oliver both napped. Leah struggled a little more at the end, but we turned on music (instead of the kids' audiobook) and she did really well.

In September, Rylee and Oliver got to do their Golden Ticket Dates with Lindi and Danny (their gift each year for Christmas).
They both had a lot of fun!
In September, Ben also "camped out" with the kids in a tent. They went over to Danny and Lindi's house to sleep outside, while I stayed home with Leah. The kids had a blast, they've wanted to sleep in a tent together for awhile now.

Ashtyn got really into making fairy houses.
An apple science experiment we did together—we put different things on the apple to see which protected it from turning brown the best.
I love Oliver's drawings.
I love my walks (especially fall walks) and I love the way Leah sings while we walk.
Oliver has also really gotten into origami lately, he's always folding and learning new patterns.

Ashtyn has had a squash plant all year and in September, she finally got some squash! She was very excited and learned how to cook them.
The kids love catching snakes. This is one Rylee caught in our yard.

Leah loves sucking her thumb and I think it's the cutest.
Leah also got her first shoes and it was cute. She loves them!

I love the bond between the siblings. Leah kept going and sitting on Oliver's lap, but this was the best picture I could get. They are little cutie pies.
We have loved the fall weather and are enjoying it as long as we can, now that it is getting close to cooling off.
