Going to the La Point Corn Maze earlier this month was so much fun! The girls and I went (and left Oliver home with Ben so he could take a nap) and met up with Makenzie and her kids. We went on the homeschool day they have. We didn't realize this meant their extra things like train or pony rides would be closed (they don't have as many workers there) and that was a little disappointing, but the weather was perfect and we all ended up having a ton of fun.
The first thing the girls did was spend time in the corn pit (I have no idea what these things are called haha).
They especially loved getting buried.
Then we went over to the pipe slide and the kids' maze (it's smaller and made out of corn bales).
Then Makenzie took the younger kids to the petting zoo area for a bit.
While the younger kids did the petting zoo, I took Ashtyn and Parker to the zipline. They were both pretty nervous to try (especially Parker) but they absolutely loved it once they tried it. They went over and over again.
Then Ashtyn wanted to do the petting zoo (but Parker told me she didn't, because "pigs are gross, of course"), so I took her there while the younger kids played on the bounce house and playgrounds.
Then I took the girls into the corn maze. This was actually our first year doing it and I'm really glad we did! Parker wanted to be done about two minutes into it, but at that point, it was too late to turn back, so we just shouldered on.
This was the middle of the maze, where they have stairs you can climb up to see the exit of the maze.
They were so excited to make it to the end!
The end had this dinosaur that all the kids wanted a picture with.
We took a last picture before leaving, but Parker didn't want to be in it.
It was a fun day at the corn maze! I'm so glad we went!
