January is always a little harder for me to get through, but we managed to make some good family memories and it didn't get as cold as it normally does, which also made it easier on me!
Ben got my Christmas presents put up and I love them.
The kids did some New Years resolutions. I love seeing them set goals and work toward them.
Oliver loves to have Grandpa Danny tell him stories 🩷
We were watching Jonathan one day when he got sick. Ben got these adorable pictures of him afterward though.
Cousin love!
Elizabeth and Ashtyn love to craft together.
They made this dollhouse out of cardboard and spent 4+ hours outside in the cold painting it. Now they are filling it wih furniture that they are making themselves out of paper.
Grandkids singing with Grandma Lindi while she was practicing 🩷
We tried having cookies in the freezer instead of popsicles for the kids during winter. I couldn't keep up, so we ended up stopping, but the kids loved it.
Ashtyn's recipe for "Ashtyn potion"
Kinetic sand!
Oliver loved Mary and the song Mary's Lullaby 💗
We also potty trained Oliver in January! He took it in stages, but did really well and is completely potty trained day and night now!
The kids' made a bunch of Minecraft crafts, including this (I think it's some sort of portal) they hung on the wall.
Ashtyn got a 1000 piece Harry Potter puzzle for Christmas and we worked on it a lot in January and February. We ended up having to start over or redo a lot of it a few times because of toddler boy visitors and ultimately decided to put it away and wait until we have a portable puzzle table to work on it, but it was fun to start together.
Parker also has been loving to crochet (and Rylee!). She is mostly chaining, but she loves to sit and do it while listening to audiobooks.
Cold walks with Ashtyn! (and Parker, but we didn't get any pictures)
Ever since moving out of his crib, Oliver's naps have been hit or miss. This was a day when he fell asleep in his chair.
Ashtyn giving his sisters a crochet lesson 💗
Oliver loves having me make him paper roads for his tractors during piano lessons.
Dancing at Grandma Dee's house when we went to visit!
On the way home, we went to the Butterfly Biosphere.
Ashtyn really wanted Ben to come so she could go into the biosphere for longer when her siblings are less interested in staying in as long as her.
We always love visiting the biosphere!
We made it through January with lots of family time, snuggles, and making memories!
