Our Family's Fun in June!

We have just been having a blast this summer with cousins, warm weather, and visiting family. June was a great start to our summer months!

One of our favorite things is going to library with cousins!

The library has such fun things for the kids to play with and explore.

These two are little buddies and love to play with all things that have wheels.

We caught this warm to feed to our tadpoles and it kept trying to escape out of the container haha

We just love creek days, especially when we get to go with cousins! Water, animals to catch, sand to play in, rocks to throw in the water ... what could be better?

And Oliver was so excited to "drive" out to the creek.

Oliver kept holding the crawdads the kids were catching at the creek, until one pinched him pretty good.

We did a homeschool Irish dance class and the kids did so well!

We've had a lot of crazy storms this year and this was one of the biggest. It was raining hard, hailing, and then the power went out for hours (while Hannah was in the hospital having Augustine!). We didn't mind, though, we just hung out with cousins and had cereal for dinner.

We went to the lake and on the way home, the kids wanted pizza. I wanted to go home and make tacos, though. They said they would pay for the pizza themselves, so we let them and they got a lesson in sales tax 😂 they loved their pizza though, and Mom and Dad enjoyed their tacos haha

This is the kids making their own version of a game they played at the library.

Ashtyn found this tutorial online, then bought the materials and made a bunch of them.

Oliver has been wanting to make money so he could buy himself tractor toys. 

This was the first day of chores, he loves making his own money!

Ashtyn really wanted me to try bangs and I hated how they turned out, but she loved them, so I guess it turned out.

The neighbors' construction is Oliver's favorite thing!

Oliver loves being big enough to ride his balance bike on our walks! 

He is a "big boy"!

And Ashtyn learned to mow the lawn. She loves it.

I went on a trip out without Ben or the kids for dance and they watched Harry Potter while I was gone.

I LOVED dancing again!

Performing was fun, but the best part was just being in the studio dancing again. It's so fun and I have been working on finding ways (even from Vernal) to keep it more a part of my life moving foward!
