Our November Family Memories!

November was a crazy and wonderful month for us! We had cousins staying with us for a long time, did a trip out to West Jordan to celebrate my mom's birthday, had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and started our Christmas celebrations!

We felt so lucky to get so much time with cousins in November as they stayed with us during the first half of the month!

Bubbles!
The weather started getting colder in November, but we actually had pretty warm weather before Thanksgiving and we tried to take full advantage of it.

Pizza picnic in the living room!

A visit to Grandma Lindi! Melissa got them all giant chocolate coins.
We liked to go during the day because that's when it was warmest.

Melissa helped the kids learn about mirrors and make this box, and then the kids were really excited to surprise Ben with it.

We also did a dancing corn science experiment, one of our favorites.

Dancing!
The kids love to have these dance songs turned on and then dance to them.

I came out and both boys were sitting in the chairs next to each other, I was just a little too slow to get a picture of it.

Crawling around together, playing!
One of the funnest parts of cousins visiting was watching how much Oliver and Jonathan played together by the end.

Makenzie, Ben's cousin, had twins in October and we couldn't be more in love.

Poor Rylee got a 24 hour bug.

Building as it was getting colder!

Watching Scooby Doo, Oliver loves Jaguaros now 😂

The kids put this lego Charzard together one afternoon, it took them hours.

Haircut day!

Oliver singing Scooby Doo!

Ashtyn standing on Elizabeth's shoulders 😂

Oliver loves pickleball!

When we went out to West Jordan, I rocked Oliver to sleep.
The next day, at our house, he told me he wanted to sleep on me instead of his crib 😂

In the car! We did the trip and back in one day, which was a lot of time in the car, but the kids did great both ways.

With everything else going on, I was crazy enough to paint the girls' room.
I really wanted it done before Christmas decorations went up and am so happy with it now.
Before!

After!
We love the color.

After we painted the girls' room, Oliver was excited for when we paint his room (after Christmas).
He took the old painter's tape and started taping it on his wall, telling us his room would be blue.

We did a painting day to make turkeys and Thomas and Ashtyn were excited that they got their water for their brushes the same color.

For the cousins' last day at our house, Melissa was packing and unpacking and I was making rolls and pie, so we got pizza for lunch to celebrate!

And the kids started singing Christmas songs just a little early!

After Thanksgiving, we got to have cousins come over to play and they made a mini snowman with the little bit of snow we got.

Playing in the snow!

During November, we had a gratitude tree.
Each night, we would write down something we were each thankful for on a leaf and add it to the tree.
Each person (including Melissa and her kids) had a color.

We really filled up the tree this year!

We also did a little activity Bingo board! It was fun to do so many activities with cousins.

The kids now love to watch Bob Ross tutorials with Ben.
They beg him to turn them on.

Dead man, dead man!
Oliver loves playing with his sisters.

Kinetic sand.

We love our cousins and our Christmas pajamas!

Starting the day after Christmas, we open a Christmas picture book each day until Christmas.
Oliver is a big fan!

We were getting ready to go and Oliver came up to us after putting these on himself, "Oliver be warm!"

Parker's first piano concert.

Ashtyn's songs.

They both worked very hard on their songs and did very well at the performance.
I'm very proud of them both and love hearing them play.
