Our JULY FAMILY Memories - Lots of Summer Fun!

July was a busy, tiring, and super fun month for us! I love summer and I have loved having fun with my kids doing all the summer things 💓 We had a lot of water fun! We started off the month at my grandma's 4th of July party in West Jordan and the month just went up from there.

This was when we went to our local rec center to swim. We all had a ton of fun! Oliver thought it was the greatest place. It's pretty warm water and he just loves water (and is not nervous in it at all!). Rylee mostly played in the shallow water and loved to spray people with the spray guns they had. Parker swam a ton with her floatie, and her favorite place was the lazy river, where she made a bunch of friends. Ashtyn also loved swimming around and had a swimming lesson with Ben. She made a lot of progress and got really comfortable having her face in the water.

Oliver turned 10 months old and is just the sweetest guy. He crawls all over the place now and loves it, he thinks he is a big boy now!

At the beginning of the month, I reached into my pocket and a piece of glass from my phone's broken screen protector stabbed into my finger. It was stuck in for a few days and even using tweezers, I couldn't get it out (it hurt too much to pull on it). Then pus built up around it and I was able to use the tweezers to slide it right out.

Some new neighbors across the street moved in and they have a sweet, fluffy cat named Ollie. Ollie loves to sit on our porch and snuggle the girls whenever they are outside. He's really the sweetest, most friendly cat.

This was when Oliver was having a rough night. I cherish all these snuggles because I know they won't last.

He loves to "help" Mom!

Got himself stuck 😂

Rylee 💗

When your brother is crying but you also want to keep playing your DS 😂

Cousins 💗

Oliver loved playing with this box!

Bath time!

One of Oliver's favorite foods is scrambled eggs. He also loves anything with maple syrup (like these waffles)!

All four of them watching Black Beard's Ghost 💗

Making lots of cookies! These are chocolate chip and butterscotch chip.

Grandpa Danny bribed Oliver into letting him hold him with cookies.

It's harder to see in the pictures, but Oliver was crawling on the driveway and fell and scraped his little face. 😢

One day, I was wanting to clean out the car, so I got out paint and poster boards and let the kids do this during Oliver's nap.

My little guy 💗

He's just the cutest 💗

Oliver loves pulling all the books off the shelf now.

He also loves playing with cars and anything that rolls.
He is such a little boy and I love it 💗

Trying to take our family's weekly library book haul back 😂

We love story time at the library! Oliver really loves the library too.

We also got "new" couches (our neighbors were selling theirs) and I love them!

For movie night one week, we did crepes 😋

Rylee's crepe 😂

Ben and I were worried about what the kids were up to because they were being so quiet.
I checked on them and found Ashtyn reading to the other two 😍

After our trip to the rec center, we stopped at Danny and Lindi's until bedtime. He hooked his fishing boat up to the four-wheeler and rode the kids around in it, then let them play in it. They were playing "the seven seas".

Oliver loves rocks, which is fine as long as I can find him some that he can't fit in his mouth.

Ashtyn loves her flowers and bugs!

It was a long day!

Rylee gave a talk in primary. This is what she wrote, with my help.

Oliver loves Grandma Lindi's chocolate cake!

This is how tall Rylee likes the sprinkler to be so she can run through without her face getting sprayed 😂

The kids love playing in our blue kiddie pool, so we ended up getting a couple more.
They love playing in the water during the summer!

Ashtyn's favorite thing to do is to get the chalk wet and "paint" with it or turn the water different colors.

She put it on her face, but had a hard time getting it off and decided she didn't want to do that again.

For National Hot Dog Day, we made a fire with Danny and Lindi, which is always fun.
Ashtyn's face is so red because of the chalk she put on it in the earlier picture.

Ashtyn loves Oliver snuggles 💗

Oliver crawling up the stairs!

Oliver loves spaghetti!

And Parker loves meatballs 😂 this is her third helping that she got herself.

Parker and Rylee were eating popsicles at the table and telling each other family stories.
I had to start filming because it was too precious.

Ashtyn and Parker had a Broadway class at the Vernal Live Theater. While they were there, the younger kids and I went to Grandma Leah's because they were doing water activities.

Oliver is so cute 💗

When we took sisters to their class, Rylee had forgotten her shoes. So she was running from shade to shade on the sidewalk, because the cement was hot. She tripped and scraped her toe. We bandaged it for the water party and after we got home, gave her a bath to make sure it was clean. After her bath, she pulled the flap of skin off all on her own.

Ashtyn and Parker loved their class! At the end, they did a little performance for family.
I wish I had filmed it because they were both so cute! Parker was the most "into" of anyone on stage and had a blast and Ashtyn remembered the moves so well.

Ben and I did a dinner date at a local cafe, and we love their hamburgers!

While we did our lunch date, Grandma Lindi watched the kids and the older girls made rock dolls with markers.

Ashtyn made a fox den at the library. She's really into foxes right now.
This caused some contention because Ashtyn used all the toys to make it, but then didn't want any of her sisters to touch it or go inside it.

By the end of the night, they were best of friends again though!

My two cuties 😍
(don't tell Rylee I said that 😂)

I also finally got a haircut!
Just a trim of the same haircut, but it was long overdue. It can be hard to get away from the kids for something like this.

Ashtyn's rock art 💗

Lake day!

We went to Steinaker this time and while the water was low, it wasn't terrible. And the water was so warm! It was really nice to swim in, and Oliver and Rylee had a lot of fun playing on the shore. Dalin came with us, which was way fun too!

I parted Oliver's hair for church and even though it didn't last long, I just can't get over how cute it is!

Oliver loves to walk with this! I don't think it'll be long before he's taking steps!

Ashtyn wanted me to take these videos of her catching a milkweed and her cartwheel.

Rylee helping me make cookies!
I love her "smile" here 😂

Ashtyn loves catching bugs and bringing them inside, so I often find them places like this.

He never lacks for stimulation 😂

Oliver loves Ollie!

Near the end of the month, my mom came to visit. We loved having her! The girls love drawing with her, playing with her barbie stuff, reading the books she brings, and of course making and eating her donuts! Ben and I also loved going on a temple date while she watched the kids for us.

We love Grandma Dee!

The girls have discovered the library has puppets and it's their favorite thing.
This was Ashtyn doing a puppet show and she had all the kids laughing their heads off by being silly.

When Parker finished her puppet show, she used this puppet to say, "This puppet show was brought to you by Dr. Seuss!"

And Parker did this with Oliver for about five minutes 😂

And Rylee loved to find a book about the place her cousin "Gracie Boo" lives!

Sitting on Mom's back, reading a book 😂

We went to the Live Theater's performance of James and the Giant Peach and had a blast. The girls were especially excited because some of their friends were in it.

Oliver's favorite game 💗

Rylee put on her swimming suit and a hat, "in case it's winter where we're going" 😂

We finished off the month with Rhen's first birthday party! They had a little water slide, pony rides, and yummy sandwiches and cupcakes. We all had a blast and love little Rhen!

It was such a great month of family memories!
