This year, our Anderson family reunion was over the weekend of Rylee's birthday and it was so fun to spend time with everyone! It was especially fun to have Melissa and her family out to visit!

We knew cousins were coming, but they were able to come earlier than originally planned. We were not sure originally if they'd even make it in time for Rylee's birthday, so it was really fun to surprise the kids with their early arrival.
The boys love balls and especially pickleball!
One of the kids' favorite part of cousins coming is that they get to eat more cookie dough bars 😂

The first night of the reunion, we did Rylee's birthday party, and it was really fun. The next morning, we all went over to the new courts to play pickleball.
Rylee had a lot of sugar for breakfast and started feeling nauseous. I ended up grabbing some cheese sticks and pretzels at the store and then she started doing much better.
It was so fun to be at the park and play pickleball together.
After pickleball, we went back to Lindi and Danny's for lunch and a water party.
We got reusable silicone water balloons and they were a huge hit with the kids.

We ended the night with hamburgers and ice cream.

Ashtyn worked really hard on her back walkover with Lizzy here and was really excited when she got it!
The first picture we were able to get of all three boys together, was when Donovan pulled out chips and started sharing 😂 they flocked to him immediately.
Sunday evening, we finished the reunion with family pictures and ice cream sandwiches afterward.
Monday wasn't officially a part of the party, but we all ended up getting together on Monday and did hot dogs and more water fun.

It wasn't a super hot day, but it ended up being a really nice day to play on the beach.
One of our favorite parts of the cousins visiting was our Bluey party!
New episodes came out at the end of July and we all waited until cousins came to watch them. We had the best time watching them together, and watching the kids watch them for the first time was the best thing ever.
We had masks we'd forgotten to get out at Parker's party that we put together for the kids.
We also opened a lot of Pokemon cards while they were here and had tons of fun with that!
We went and got free books from the county fair.
And just spent tons of time together. We had meet for the treat, baking together, Pokemon card trading, coloring and crafts, a dollar store visit, movies, outside time, Legos, and spending time at Grandma's house.
And park days! We loved riding bikes and scooters to the park together!
And babysitting 💗
Another fun thing the kids loved was making games with a program Ben found.
It was such a fun time and so sad when it was time for them to go home. We are so glad they were able to visit and make so many memories.
